So going with the engine

It was a stock 4G63 carb engine with 102hp

then i got original 2.0Turbo engine , known as a G63BT 8 valves, with 150hp

after some modding , adding up a intercooler, and settiong boost on 1.0bar it pulled out 175hp, but the power above 5000rpm was pretty bad

So i decided to go multipoint

i got a Megasquirt 2 Extra, intake manifold from 2.4 engine, 450cc eclipse injectors

after a lot of hard work, result was great, 227hp@5000rpm and 348Nm

Also then, i have painted a body kit, so all was looking much nicer

Vs: Mitsubishi Galant 1987 E15 2.0Turbo RalliArt

Wau. The craftmanship is excellent, and special-extra-credit on starting a build on such a (nowadays) rare model. Anyone can just buy a new/newish car, and start putting bolt-on parts on it, but this is something else! Respect!

Vs: Mitsubishi Galant 1987 E15 2.0Turbo RalliArt

The story goes on

As turbo was very old, it starded smoking on idle, and i got a great deal on a DOHC engine, so the DOHC came in from eclipse, and i sold my engine to Austria

Then i started to rebuild the engine

First parts arrived

ARP head studs
set for balance shaft delete
injector rubber
oil filter x2
oil cap gasket x2
O2 housinga and downpipe 70mm gasket

set for balance shaft delete

engine dissasembled

then balance shafts are out, total weight save is 2.9kg

OEM part for oil pump housing

then the cleaning part

valve coer was in pretty bad shape

piston before and after

then next part was block

painted

Most of us are still busy trying to jacklift our jaws up from the floor... and the rest have their hands busy fapping to this engine porn, hence the lack of comments. Astonishing work. :o

Finns are quite recticent, and use words sparingly ;D

... unless we are drunk ;D

I guess we are all so impressed that we do not find words.. and perhaps a bit ashamed because this is what many of us actually dream of doing but we just don´t get our thumbs out of our a**

Keep up that good work!

And all the best to Croatia! Lovely country and wonderful people! :peukku

Vs: Mitsubishi Galant 1987 E15 2.0Turbo RalliArt

After fitting the engine, next problem was that engine moved forward, so there wasnt many space for the pipe from air filter to the turbo.

So i bought a SPAL slim ventilator, as stock one is really deep

here is the problem

Comparasion

and fitted, looks like OEM

much more space now

after completing the engine bay(all hoses connected etc), iam really satisfied how it looks

Vs: Mitsubishi Galant 1987 E15 2.0Turbo RalliArt

This photo and engine bay makes me cry... How beatyful life can be when mates are sharing Porn over internet... :) !

Vs: Mitsubishi Galant 1987 E15 2.0Turbo RalliArt

In finland we have this saying "jumalauta et on siisti" roughly translated "god help thats cool"
Astounishing work. Keep it up !

Vs: Mitsubishi Galant 1987 E15 2.0Turbo RalliArt

Completely new wiring and engine installation all by yourself? I'm beyond astonished. :nykii

Vs: Mitsubishi Galant 1987 E15 2.0Turbo RalliArt

yep, i have all done by my self. Also a whole work you see is done only by me, and without any help, except mapping the car.

Vs: Mitsubishi Galant 1987 E15 2.0Turbo RalliArt

So there are a lot of news lately, but slowly we will start with the new "phase"

car was hit by an old granny

index.php

and after a lot of time and patience, all was putted in the previous spot, and bumper was repaired with special material (small tube cost 100e)

Vs: Mitsubishi Galant 1987 E15 2.0Turbo RalliArt

Nice!

Proper job you have done there. :)

Vs: Mitsubishi Galant 1987 E15 2.0Turbo RalliArt

After getting the car in the shape before accident, i have finally decided for a full respray
that means, fixing all the extra holes, and getting the "clean look" for the bolts for side skirts and rear bumper

also removing any rust surfaces from the doors and the body. A lot of hard work for removing everything and preparing it for painting

Finally removed all the parts from the car
